Mary Cousler

My husband and I moved to northern New Mexico to follow a life-long dream of returning to the mountains. I feel a deep love for God, family, country and all things wild and beautiful. Inspiration is everywhere in the Sangre de Cristo mountains and the incredible people who inhabit this land. The watercolors and drawings I create simply overflow from an abundance of joy and gratitude. These unique and colorful designs are both light-hearted and introspective, designed to make you smile…and think. “New Mexicana” is an eclectic style of folk art for the native of the Southwest as well as our welcomed guests. Relax, enjoy, breathe deeply of the cool mountain air and delight with me in awe and wonder of the One who made it.
